Privacy Policy
The short version: your pay figures never leave your device. There is no account and no server holding your calculations. The app does send anonymous usage events (which buttons were used, not what you typed), and if you buy Lifetime Pro, a record of that purchase.
To estimate your paycheck, the app asks for figures like your salary or hourly wage, state, filing status, and pay frequency. If you choose to save a calculation, it also stores the name you give it.
All of this is stored only in your device's local app storage. Your salary, hourly wage, hours, and every calculated figure are never transmitted anywhere — not to us, not to a server, not to any third party.
To understand which parts of the app people actually use, the app sends anonymous usage events to PostHog, an analytics service. These events record that something happened, not what you typed:
Never included: your salary, hourly wage, hours worked, take-home pay, any deduction amount, the names you give saved scenarios, your name, email, or any contact information.
These events are tied to a randomly generated identifier stored on your device, not to you. There is no sign-in, so we have no way to connect that identifier to a real person. It is not an advertising identifier, it is not shared with advertisers, and it is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
The paycheck calculator itself is free. Saving more than one scenario at a time and exporting a PDF require a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase.
Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your card number, billing address, or Apple ID. To know whether Pro is unlocked on your device — including after you reinstall the app or move to a new phone — the record of that purchase is stored with RevenueCat, a purchase-management service, against the same kind of anonymous identifier described above.
When you export a calculation as a PDF, the app hands it to your device's standard share sheet — the same system window you'd see sharing a photo or a document from any app. Where you send it from there (Mail, Messages, Files, AirDrop, etc.) is entirely your choice; we have no visibility into it and no copy of it ourselves. Once you choose a destination from the share sheet, that destination's own privacy practices apply to whatever you send it.

This app is a general-purpose financial estimation tool, not directed at children, and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Since the app doesn't collect contact information, we're not able to notify you directly — please check back here if you have concerns.
